Inspired by a fascination with antique papier mache dolls, these art dolls are made from paperclay and cloth. Hands, faces, arms, legs and shoes are individually sculpted, painted, and finished according to my own techniques. I like to think my handmade dolls combine the directness and simplicity of folk art with the look of a well-worn vintage toy. My dolls are one of a kind and the clothing is custom made from aged or vintage textiles and accessories.
